Summer Craziness!

I sure hope everyone is having a fun filled summer! Less than 2 months left, enjoy while you can.

October was filled with fun!

There was so much going on in the month of October. It seems like we had tons of things jam packed into the few days that we actually attended school. We celebrated Red ribbon month by doing some fun activities such as crazy hair day, pajamas, jersey day, etc. We also had a fabulous Halloween party thanks to all the AWESOME volunteers and finally topped it off with the Halloween Parade. I loved seeing all of our class dressed up so cute. They all looked perfect! In the beginning they were so excited to walk through all of the classrooms and show off their costumes towards the end of the parade they were just ready to be back in class. All in all it was one memorable month!

Nature Center

Rain, Rain, Go Away! This was definatley the thought running through all of our heads this day. But true to the spirit of a five year old - nothing could ruin this day... Not even buckets of rain. The Nature Center staff did a great job "trying" to entertain us. We learned about how people lived off the land many years ago. We got a chance to mush corn to make journey cakes, sit in a tepee, look at the birds, and take a journey down birdhouse lane. It was fun and the sun managed to make an appearance towards the end of the fieldtrip. Thanks to all the parents who were able to volunteer and spend the day in the rain with us. YEAH!!
